1966 Several US radio stations ban the playing of Beatles records, when 
John Lennon's infamous comment that they "are bigger than God" is taken out 
of context.
1970 Jim Morrison is found drunk & passed out on an old ladies front porch 
@ 7:00AM in Hollywood. She discovers him when she gets the morning paper, 
and calls the police. He is arrested.
