Performers include Billy Ward and The Dominoes, Tiny Grimes, and Paul Williams and The Hucklebuckers. 1956 – Tickets are $1.00 to see Elvis Presley perform at the YMCA gymnasium in Lexington, North Carolina. Also on the bill are Mother Maybelle and The Carter Sisters, Rod Brasfield, and Hal and Ginger. Presley is paid $200 for the show. 1960 – Elvis Presley has his first recording session since being discharged from the Army, recording “Stuck On You,” “A Mess Of Blues,” “Fame And Fortune,” and “It Feels So Right” with Scotty Moore and Bill Black, who quit his band in 1957.
