When I lived in Cleveland I used to go to the Burger King that Amanda Berry worked at (as it was next to the grocery store I used). She used to ride the same bus home from work. In fact I am almost positive that the day before she vanished she was on my bus.
So here is the story in a nutshell. At a few minutes to 6 yesterday the Cleveland Police Dispatch got a phone call from a fellow who said I have Amanda Berry with me here (he was met with incredulity). Amanda then telephoned and within 2 minutes police had arrived and rescued the two other women. This all began when a neighbor heard a woman screaming for help. She was trying to get out of the house but the door was chained shut. Eventually he kicked the bottom panel out of the door and she crawled out bringing with her a child. The neighbor took her to his house and called 911. Amanda's mom passed away, I think, about 3 years ago. One of the news stations has reported that police said chains and bondage items were found in the basement of the home. However FBI forensic teams are still processing the crime scene and are expected to be at it for days. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Diamond Headz" group.
