1956 – Elvis Presley has his first television interview on Memphis's

1959 – The manager of the Lido Club in Paris calls the hotel where
Elvis Presley is still on leave from the Army and demands that his
entire chorus line of dancing girls be returned to the club on time
for their show.

1966 – Capitol Records re-releases The Beatles new album Yesterday And
Today, this time with a new, less offensive cover of the group sitting
in and around a steamer trunk. In many cases, the new cover was simply
pasted right over the “offensive” butcher cover, which had many record
buyers trying to steam the new cover off in order to have the
original.
1967 – The Buckinghams begin recording "Susan" and "Hey Baby (They're
Playing Our Song)."
1968 – Elvis Presley begins the first of four days of recording
