Scottish musician Jack Alexander (right) died aged 77 on Saturday following 
a long battle with ill health. 

The folk star, who was a member of the musical duo The Alexander 
Brothers<http://www.bing.com/search?q=alexander%20brothers&filters=ufn%3a%22alexander%20brothers%22+sid%3a%22432fc015-f579-3b9f-b3b2-4dee98730c2d%22&FORM=MSNMEP>,
 
passed away at Ayrshire Hospice, 
Scotland<http://www.bing.com/search?q=scotland&filters=ufn%3a%22scotland%22+sid%3a%22a0377d96-1a18-f843-65ad-adcbc4acdc69%22&FORM=MSNMEP>,
 
with his family around him. 

Alexander had reportedly been battling illness since last year and his 
health deteriorated further following a stroke last month.
