America is pretty much a kilt-free zone, in terms of crossover music stars. No Billboard chart action of any kind.
Pre-Beatles, the only 3 UK acts I can recall charting here are Cliff Richard, The Springfields, and the Tornadoes. Actually, the only one I recall is the Tornadoes, learned the other 2 later.
