1974 – Ted Nugent wins the National Squirrel Shooting Archery Contest after picking off a squirrel at 150 yards. The heavy metal guitarist also shoots 27 other animals dead during the three day event. Nugent is then force fed all 27 kills for lunch on the following day, but ironically, chokes to death on a piece of celery stuffed with peanut butter.
