2006 – A collection of Elvis Presley memorabilia bought by Sleaford council 
worker Julie Wall, who embezzled nearly £600,000 to purchase the 
collection, is set to be sold by a High Court to compensate the local 
authority. The collection includes rare recordings and foreign pressings of

two girls, aged 11 and 12, in the southern province of Ba Ria Vung Tau in 
Vietnam, and faces a prison term of three to seven years.

2006 – Singer Pink marries her motocross racer boyfriend Carey Hart on the 
beach at the Four Seasons resort in Costa Rica. They are still married.
2008 – Thieves steal two rings, a necklace, a pair of earrings and a Rolex 
watch worth more than $100,000 total from Dionne Warwick’s hotel room at 
the luxurious Hotel De Russie in Rome, Italy.
