Hi,
i have set up
> cat ~/.micorc
-ORBIfaceRepoAddr inet:127.0.0.1:9000
-ORBImplRepoAddr inet:127.0.0.1:9001
-ORBNamingAddr inet:127.0.0.1:2809
started ird
> ird -ORBIIOPAddr inet:127.0.0.1:9000 -ORBDebug All
started micod
> micod --forward -ORBIIOPAddr inet:127.0.0.1:9001 -ORBDebug All
used imr to invoke nsd and the mico/demo/services/naming server example
> imr create NameService shared "nsd -ORBIIOPAddr inet:127.0.0.1:2809"
> IDL:NameService:1.0
> imr activate NameService
> imr create Account unshared ./server IDL:Account:1.0
> imr activate Account
started the client locally
> ./client
Looking up Bank ... done.
Balance is 250.
But when i try to start the client from another system, i can't make it work.
I have even a problem, when i try to start the nsadmin on the local machine,
but using the external IP-address of the system.
I.e. it works fine, when i use:
> nsadmin
CosNaming administration tool for MICO(tm)
nsadmin> ls
Bank
But when i try:
> nsadmin -ORBNamingAddr inet:192.168.124.115:2809
no name service available, use -ORBNamingAddr ...
though it is the correct IP-address.
And while i try to use nsadmin with external IP-address of the local machine i
can even see ird and micod are busy, because they log debug information.
