Hello group!
I am new here, and after much searching and installing I am resorting
to this group as it seems appropriate for my problem.
I'll really appreciate any help, and I'll help in return in any way I
can.

So here goes:
I have a pretty cheap webcam, but it works fine in Windows,
the device id is: 0c45:602c Microdia Clas Ohlson TWC-30XOP WebCam
The first progress I made in Linux was using EasyCam2.
I could now see the camera's output in Cheese and in Ekiga.
But my goal is to get it working on Skype.
Although before it didnt work at all, now it displays the output, but
flushed in green, and it isn't very clear.
I installed microdia-dkms_2009.01-0ubuntu1~ppa4i_all.deb , but i don't
think it's being used or activated at all.

other thoughts:
I blacklisted sn9c102, but it doesn't resort to a different driver,
the cam is then stuck without a driver.
Also, when I disconnect the cam twice in a row, it fails to properly
de-register the device, and then if i plug it back in, it won't do
anything at all, it also stops Ubuntu from shutting down completely.

Thanks a lot group!
