This looks quite good.
Please grab a new(updated) copy of the driver.

Do not patch - all changes are already in there.
Of course you will need to  compile again.

You can fix the mirror issue by loading the module with
# insmod sn9c20x.ko vflip=1
Alternatively you can use "v4l2ucp". It's a small application which allows 
control of image settings while the driver is loaded and running.

The flickering can only be fixed by using USB2.0 or patching libv4l.
Brian: Can you please submit that patch to the libv4l developers? Much easier 
than letting everybody patch it themselves.
