I was hunting for the right word there anyways. Microformats seem to be/have been in the news a lot, they are topics at conventions, etc. However, it seems like the formats themselves are getting more coverage than the process used to create them, when the process is as important a development as the formats themselves; the formats grow out of the process. The fact that you have to reference the process to people, rather than them already knowing about it as a result of learning about microformats-in-general, indicates that the formats are more emphasized than the process.
