Okay, I've done my best to follow the format there and add a formal issue around "Governance":

For the record, while I completely agree with Colin that we would benefit from a more transparent (and perhaps slightly gentler) process, I deeply appreciate Tantek's courage, humility, and graciousness in attempting to deal with this situation. I too have had to moderate mailing list disputes [1], and I know how difficult it is to find the right balance between helping people feel "safe" and ensuring they feel "free." We may never get it right (so I second the call for a meta-list :-), but I feel very privileged to be part of a community that hasn't stopped trying.
