This doesn't look like a stretch of <abbr>, Telec. is an abbreviation of 
Télécopieur, which is "fax" in English (and I believe it has already been 
established that properties are in English.)

Would it be legal to write
<abbr class="type" title="fax telecoupieur">Telec.</abbr>
Thus satisfying the title for parsers and title for users?
