--- i think people are confusing the notion that the two must be connected. It is just semantic mark-up so for instance i could have: <p class="vcard ingredient">You will need to add <span class="unit">3 table spoons</span> of <span class="value">specially ground spice</span> which can be picked up at <span class="fn org">XYZ specialty shop</span></p> Now, an hCard aware parser will find the shop, an hRecipe parser will find the ingredient. The fact that both are on the <p> is irrelevant in this situation. This goes for any mixing of vocabularies.
