Hi Danny,

It looks like there is plenty of water, and the terrain looks steep
enough. How much distance along the stream do you have access to? It
is much easier and cheaper and less disruptive to the stream if you
can put a small part of the stream in a pipe (say 4" to 8" - depends
on how much power you want), and run the pipe off to the side (buried
if possible) of the stream to pick up at least something like 30' of
head. In general, the more head you can develop in this way the less
the turbine will cost for a given amount of power.

I can help you with components and info on my web site if you want a
DIY type project. If you want a basic turnkey setup try Harris or ES&D
from your local Solar Energy dealer. If you want a full blow utility
grade system try Canyon Industries of Deming WA. Their site has some
info on measuring head.
