Dear Mr. Klunne,
We are CEEEZ, Centre for Energy, Environment and Engineering of Zambia.
Among other portfolios we provide technical assistance to entrepreneurs
who want to use the small hydropower technology to generate electricity
with the financial assistance of AREED, the African Rural Energy
Enterprise Development.
We are currently acting for a farmer, Mr. P. Synmann who wants to
construct a micro hydropower plant with an ultimate power requirement of
75 kW i.e 3x25 kW starting with 50 kW i.e. 2 x25 kW.
We have contacted turbine manufacturers for a quote using the
microhydropower web site but the response has been lukewarm.
Perhaps you could be kind enough to assist us get manufacturers to give
us a quote for 2 x 25 kW machines. The specifications are attached
herewith.
