Dear Juan Carlos: In Europe there are several waterwheel constructors, I knew about one in France, in the GEMEINDE 1997, Berna, Switzerland, at ENERGY 2000 stand, who builts modern, beautiful and compact waterwheels with in-line gear box (co-axial) for increase RPM from some 12-15 RPM to 1.000 or 1.500 RPM for 50 Hz electric generator drive. I dont remember the trade mark. If I can find the catalog in my files I can give you the coordinates. My advice for you is for try to built the project with microhydropower modern technology instead of a waterwheel because those are beautiful but expensives. The opinion about this from other microhydropower net guys will be helpful. Another hint: Try to find something from "google" with: "waterwheel".
