I get plenty of power in the wintertime for my needs, but the water flow trends
towards the smaller volume during the late summer and my power requirements stay the
same.

I can't provide exact measurements of the Pelton wheel at the moment, will do so next
week.
My recollection is that the wheel is about 14" in diameter. 2 side-by-side cups per
spoke, 8 spokes, cups 1.5" in diameter.
Please indicate the Pelton parameters like diameter, cup etc.

I presume that you want additional power, am I right ?.
The power may increase to the ratio of 180/50 = 3.6 with the same water
volume giving about 21 KW , so you may need a new generator if the Pelton is
capable of handling such power increase.
