All

I have a student who is interested in modelling a storage based microhydro
system which is currently in construction in Ireland. Site parameters:

Max Head = 9 m
Lake volume 55,000 m3 (to 6 m)
Max Flow = 1.4 m3
Flow into reservoir variable (from river)
Night/weekend tariff less than weekday tariff

The goal is to maximise revenue for various input flow and tariffs .
Has anybody got suggestions for a modelling/simulation program which they
would recommend for this purpose.

Kind Regards,

Martin
