Hi Mark ("H2MJD"),
following with your question, normally ball or roller bearings in turbines
like Ossberger Univ. 'B' must be re-lubricated every 4000 operation hours or
every 6 months, more or less. Old grease must be removed and bearings
cleansed very well, then re-filled with new grease - like SKF ARCANOL
Lithium base - but only just to 60% of the bearing space free 'volume'.
Excess grease can produce elevation in the temperature level at the
bearings.
I can send you directly - if you wish - Operators Manual for MHP plants with
SKAT T-13 or MTF model TU-201 / 301 cross flow turbines, thet we have for
our mini plants, but 'in Spanish'. Tell me later.
All the best,
Carlos
