The Pump Sets used for agricultural purpose can also be used for
power generation and I have proved it. Kindly see the photos along
with the e-mail attachment.
>From now onwards Rules of Applications for Micro-Hydro would be
changed.
Micro Hydro is mostly used for power generation in remote areas
where water from a suffcient height is channelised through pipeline
to move the Turbine which is connected to a generator.
If height and flow per litres per seconds is more then maximum is the
power generation.
But I have used this Micro-Hydro connecting it to a Pump Set used
for agricultural purpose showing that it can generate
Electricity.Pump sets are used normally from four to 10 hours or more
as per requirement. If all the farmers world-over do the same
along with water, Electricity would be added bonus.I have coined the
word "farmhydro" for microhydros to be used by
farmers.
For experiment I've used 2 Horse Power Pump Set (running on Kerosene)
connecting it to Micro-Hydro giving around 160 Watts as power output
at 240 Volts.
Electricity generated can be directly used for stored to use as and
when required.
I feel that making this system more efficient would increase the
power output. And experts worldwide should think of it.
Soon launching www.farmhydro.com, a website for this cause.
Farmers use Pump Sets of various HP's like 2HP, 3HP , 5HP and that
also upto 10 HP for as much as 4-10 or more hours. So they
should take advantage of this proven concept.
With this concept gaining popularity, micro-hydro is likely to
become a multi-billion dollar industry globally.
Millions of such sites are readily available for power generation
This news has appeared in Maharastra Times and Sakal leading
newspapers from Mumbai city.Also in Maharashtra State's widely
circulated newspapers - Lokmat,Mumbai Chaufare,Vartahar,Punaya
Nagri,Loksatta,Agro1,Mumbai samachar and also in Chitralekha
magazine.
It has all happened in a span of 10 days.
And on 10th of June Sahara has shown this in their news and on 11th
of june ETV has also shown in their news.
