Bill:

120 PSI=277 feet head =85 meter head

The Subject says 180 PSI, clear it up !!

Though you have a 2 inch pipe, you have not determined what water volume you
may have.

What is the length of the 2 inch pipe ?.
Just for info 150 GPM=9.5 liter/second will have about 15 PSI drop for each
100 feet of 2 inch pipe length.

Your idea of a Pelton with 4 Nozzles and a 24 volts set up may not be
proper since you have not given enough information.

For this Head even a Turgo turbine may be better, also I question 4 Nozzles.

Be more realistic and show what you have and what you expect to have or
desire to attain.
Just because you may have occasional raging brown liquid speedway -- that
does not allow us to assist you.

With the pressure you have and with 50 GPM=3.15 liter/second you may be
able to generate around 1.1 to 1.5 KW and for that power is not practical to
use a 24 volt system, a 115 Vac would me more practical.

So inform !!

Regards

Nando
