Below is an early save-the-date reminder from our peers at UC Davis. Regards, Paul
-------- Colleagues, The IT Security Symposium returns in 2015! Please mark your calendar for this event, which will take place on Tuesday, June 16 and Wednesday, June 17 here on the UC Davis campus. This bi-annual symposium will feature lectures with in-depth content, hands-on labs, and presentations provided by university and industry experts. The schedule also includes many social opportunities for networking. The two days should be filled with useful information, and they offer great value—the registration fee is just $95. As in years past, the symposium will include presentations made by professionals like you and your colleagues from throughout the UC system, so please start thinking about topics you may want to present. We will distribute a call for proposals at the start of December. If you can attend, we hope you will. This event is a great opportunity to meet your IT peers from other UC campuses, learn from professionals outside UC, and exchange ideas and solutions related to a wide range of security activities. Sharing ideas, best practices, and innovations spurs us all towards excellence. Please feel free to forward this email to all of your campus IT colleagues who might be interested. For more about the 2015 symposium, please go to http://itsecuritysymposium.ucdavis.edu, or contact us at [email protected].
