Does anyone know whether UC Berkeley is planning to participate in this?

It would be handy if there were an easy way to get signatures
acceptable to campus offices without requiring the signers to come
into the office or to play the email/print/sign/scan/email game. (And
I know Acrobat Pro has the facility to sign electronically now, but
this new option might be more palatable to less tech-savvy people I
support.)

Of course, for full usefulness the people in charge of approvals will
need to accept the electronic signatures too, which might be a problem
for (e.g.) the vendor department, which accepts only faxes (and maybe
paper?).
