About the Company:
InfoSpace is an innovative leader in the evolving web search and

destination sites are the company's core products, and InfoSpace is
actively and eagerly seeking a performance driven Sr. Software
Engineer to become a key member of their fraud detection system
(FDS) team. Their FDS is a state-of-the-art rules based system for
detecting click stream fraud, and you will be challenged to use the
latest in technologies and design to develop a reliable and stable
system.
What will you be doing?
The FDS is based on C#.Net technologies, so proficiency with these
technologies is a must. With C#.Net, you will be developing client
side components that interact with SQL Server databases. You will
also be designing and developing a scaleable backend database system
that includes schema design using relational/dimensional data
modeling techniques, development of DTS packages and stored
procedures. In addition, you will:
--- Develop reusable rule frameworks employing object-oriented
programming.
--- Develop API and, to a lesser extent, user interfaces for
administration tools.
--- Work in concert with Product Managers to interpret
requirements into feature sets.
What should you have in your background?
--- A degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline.
--- 4-6 years of experience in software development
--- Software development skills in C++, ASP.Net, C# and SQL.
--- Experience in C#.Net (Must have)
--- An in depth knowledge of SQL Server and development of highly
scaleable data-centric applications.
--- A solid background in object oriented development and
experience with design patterns.
--- Experience with multi-tiered architectures and knowledge of
factoring code between client and server.
--- A working knowledge of XML and related technologies.
