I have to display a list box with some list items in it.
I want to achieve following:

On mouseover of the list box the respective list item's forecolour should change (kind of
highlighting)
what could be the best method?
I tried using <a></a> tags but the additional functionality required is:
to click the list and hit a character and the 1st list item matching the character will be

to click the list and hit a character and the 1st list item matching the character will be
automatically selected. (regular feature of listbox)
kindly guide, what could be the best method to achieve this.
