Have you checked that you have the "authentication: required" flag set
in the host record? You can check this in SQL by doing "SELECT info FROM
host WHERE id=1". If this prints "auth", then it's OK, otherwise run
"UPDATE host SET info='auth' WHERE id=1" to fix it.
