Hi there,
I have previously installed Midgard 1.2.3 successfully on one machine.
I'm now using the Monster Package for Redhat 6.x, and have run into a
problem. Although Midgard's main page comes up correctly, it doesn't
ask for a password -- even though I have confirmed that the following
lines are in my httpd.conf:
MidgardRootfile /usr/lib/apache/midgard-root.php3
<Files /usr/lib/apache/midgard-root.php3>
require valid-user
AuthName Midgard
AuthType Basic
</Files>
The site comes up immediately, without a user/password dialogue box.
Unfortunately, when I try to change anything, nothing happens. Any
suggestions on how to debug this would be welcome. (I have been
comparing my other site, which works, but can't spot the error.)
Thanks,
Paul Gillingwater
