When I run 'rcapache start' on a SuSE 6.2 Linux installation, I get the
following message:
Syntax error on line 187 of /etc/httpd/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp3.so into server: libgd.so.1: cannot
open shar
ed object file: No such file or directory.
I did the changes recommended in the INSTALL instructions in regard to the
AddModule
and LoadModule statements. libphp3.so is in /usr/lib/apache, so I am not
certain what is
going on there. I noticed that the LoadModule statement for php3 is
surrounded by
a <IfDefine PHP> </IfDefine> block, whereas the other LoadModule
statements are
not. I don't remember doing that, and not certain if PHP is defined
elsewhere?
I am assuming that
libgd.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory.
is a second error message. I can't locate that lib on my system, and am
not sure where it is located (what package it is contained in).
Cheers,
Eric
