Hi all,
After installing Midgard OK on my RedHat 5.2 (i386) system (MySQL 3.22.27),
I'm now clicking around the admin interface.
When I try and create a new Article I see:
"Warning: Object article not found in content on line 224"
towards the bottom of the submission form. I don't know if this is
significant, as I get no subsequent errors.
On a more general level, I am having trouble setting up my own test site for
a number of reasons: there doesn't seem to be any logical order to setting
up each element of the site (Host, Layout, Group/User, etc.), so I don't
know if one is dependant on another, etc. There's no information on how the
various elements relate to eachother, so now I have a test site up, but
can't find out how to get any content onto the index page.
I don't necessarily expect answers to these general questions right now as I
assume this will be in the forthcoming documentation. However, this is
really to point out to anyone currently struggling to install Midgard that
when they succeed, they will need to climb still further to understand even
the fundamental aspects of how it works.
