First challange is coding the articles in such a way (and
with the proper
PHP code) that determines where the article goes. ("Today in
RadioDigest.com", "Other Articles", "Regular Features..."
etc.)
Sounds like this feeds into an earlier discussion about symbolic
links.  Your major topic categories (Markets, Features, Departments)
don't fit with the topics used for display of the articles on the page
(Today, Other, Regular).   If you could create symbolic links
under the display topics to articles under your main topics
and set the score according to how you want them displayed,
that would probably help a lot, yes?
