Hey Merry Chirstmas, Happy New Year and all of that......
I have been quietly hacking away and have been pretty successful, my
production server has gone through a big upgrade and is running midgard's
apache and I even managed to upgrade my database without losing a drop of
data....I am so darn pleased....
I do have a question as I start replacing a bunch of old PHP pages with new
improved versions...the tutorial makes reference to elements called
code-compat, code-global, and code-init. I have been looking through the
demo site and I can't find an instance of them any where...I seem to
remember seeing code-init once but can't remember where.....I am guessing
that they might have some of the variables that I would want to use in the
long run to tweak article placement and rotation...no?
Also in my eternal quest to help the docs...I feel like I understand all of
the fields on the new article page but haven't really figured out how to
invoke or use them...pictures and diagrams are always my favorite but in
general even a demo or pointer to a plce where they are used could be
usefullllllll....
How are things with V2 going?
I hope everyone is safe and happy as the new year approaches....it is
pretty quiet here, in the woods on a mountain, and I don't expect that to
change so if anyone needs a place to hide out.....
