I hate to admit it but I need to know this as well...the bitching from a
certain department about this gets under my skin.....I always tell them
sure I'll change it when they rewrite microsoft word so that little weasel
doesn't show up and try to help me ever again....of coorse they still use
word 5 and have no clue what I am talking about...but I digress....
the date thing can't be too hard ....right?

I searched the MARC for this one and could not find anything after 20
minutes.
Is there a way to set the default "date" to "mm/dd/yyyy" instead of
"dd.mm.yyyy"?
I know I can adjust this along the way to whatever I need, I just want to
know if and how the default can be changed.
