OK, that's not good but I can't tell why ATM.

You could pik up the SuSE source RPM for Apache to see if they did
anything special to build apache. These errors are from th modules that
come with Apache.

That is indeed off. But the source RPM will have a spec file that shows
how to compile apache for suse.
