Right, this helps.

For package purposes I think it is best though to build them together.

I would like to be able to build all packages from source, but I think that
some packages must be installed before others will compile.

Is it possible to build the dependant packages against the cvs-dir source of
the required packages without creating a dependancy on the cvs-dir location
used at compile time? Like, sort of, compile mod_midgard
with --with-midgard-lib=/usr/src/cvs/midgard/lib and yet not have this path
compiled into the .exe ?

Thanks

Sam
