Okay that clears that aspect of the problem up but /example/news/8.html still returns
the same page as /example/news/ does - which of course shouldn't be happening.
Here's an appropriate part of the error logs.

I'm happy to report that I was able to login to the admin site fine (once I remembered
I was using the sitegroups enabled version).
Oh - I also just noticed that admin site works fine but everytime I pull up an article
it says "Can't find article #9", however:
