I don't think so. The symlinks were intact, i.e

libmidgard.so -> libmidgard.so.3.1.0

libmidgard.so.3 -> libmidgard.so.3.1.0

with libmidgard.so.3.1.0 being the lib from 1.4.b4. No old inlcude files
were present and the new midgard.h was in the right place.

Accessing a non-public page owned by some othe user (not *admin) did not
work either.

But, as you said, I'll read more about sitegroups.
