I was mistaken. It was the addres, phone, homepage. email and extra
fields of the person record that can be made public on a case-by-case
basis. preferences are like parameters but only accessable to the user
and admin.

The admin site is getting an overhaul. I wouldn't at all be surprised
if parameters were supported although Alexander has the skinny on
that; I currently keep mostly to the core. Anyway, if it's a time
issue I'm afraid I can't create any for you :/ If it's skills, either
I or someone else from the list will be able and willing to help you
out.
