"grab"? Do you mean that you want $midgard->user to reflect the new
situation?

The $midgard object is a passive situation snapshot; look in
midgard-root.php3. If you want
$midgard up to date you must do $midgard = mgd_get_midgard after the
mgd_auth_midgard.

Right, at the new request the mgd_get_midgard is done for you in
midgard-root.php3
