Hello everyone!

I am looking for some form of application suite like Midgard and have
some questions to ask and is wondering if someone can help me with it as
I *thought* I have gone through the relevent parts of the website but
cannot find the answers to my questions.

Basically,

1. For a "Migarded" web site, is everything done totally through the
migard interface and does not require other programs like FTP, etc to
upload the html files or graphics files? Like say can I use Migard to
create a website with graphics and links and content and so on and don't
need any other programs?

2. From what I gather at the Demo site, Midgard also has some form of
user authentication for the administration of Migard and the relevent
areas. Is there anyway to make it integrate together with the web server
based username/authentication? Cos before people can access my website,
they have to supply a username/password which is authenticated to a
central LDAP directory service.

3. Has anyone successfully statically compiled midgard-php & php4 into
Apache? I noticed that the PHP4 docs says to use the apxs program. But
if I were to build statically, I would like to add the "addmodules"
lines into the /usr/src/apache/src/Configuration file so that I only
need to type make and it will be done.

4. Is there any problems with using it on a SSLed website? Has anyone
tried it out before?

That's all I can think of for now.

Thanks alot for your time!

(btw, I am subscribed to the midgard mailing list)
