Dear Ron et al.,

We now have a VA Linux server with 30 Gb waiting for the Midgard mirror
for Central and Eastern Europe, based at our Internet Service Provider
European Telecom. Try a traceroute to www2.lanifex.com to see the
bandwidth. We're eager to start hosting a full Midgard mirror, however
I haven't been able to get 1.4beta5 operational yet -- any help will be
welcome. (I would be happy to let known Midgard volunteers to gain
root access to the box to try to isolate the problem. I will also soon
be posting more information, in an effort to try to solve it with help
from the developers.)

We are also hoping to get final agreement from European Telecom
that they would sponsor all Midgard-related traffic. I would like to
suggest that you register the name at.midgard-project.org as the
address 213.225.63.35, which will be the final address for the
Midgard mirror (we're assigning the Midgard mirror its own
address so we can keep traffic separate from our own traffic for
better accounting purposes.)

Thanks,

Paul Gillingwater
