While we're on the subject of authentication, the INSTALL
file for mod_midgard still says that additions to httpd.conf
include

 <Files midgard-root.php3>
 require valid-user
 AuthName Midgard
 AuthType Basic
 </Files>

This is no longer the case, yes?
