These people are comedians. Comedians always make fun of people in power. It's been that way since ancient Rome, at least. With one party in control of the White House and Congress, it's hard to balance the ridicule. I suspect that Chuck Schumer and crew are just not as funny a target for comedy, these days, and they produce a lot less material to ridicule, on a daily basis.
