I remember Golightly.  Interesting name.    I expect that many of our “old timer” correspondents also remember them.  There were so many of them, and their contribution spanned the gap between A+ and F-.  Some were horrible.  Some helped. And the industry just stumbled along in spite of them.

 

And this continues.  Just different names.

 way back in the 70s, as most know, we were buddy buddy with the Shah. One oif the offshoots of this was a US firm named Golightly, with owner Henry Golightly who got a consulting contract with Iran Air. They hired an Eastern airlines employee to help. I have never heard more about anything.
