included a chart ranking all nonstop segments by annual seat factors. Their
recommendation was to “simply” cancel the lowest-ranked segments, without
regard to blind sectors or network synergies (e.g., SFO-LAX and LHR-CDG as part
of the LAX-LHR operation). One of several true “ah-hah” conclusions. Bob

remember Golightly. Interesting name. I expect that many of our “old timer”
correspondents also remember them. There were so many of them, and their
contribution spanned the gap between A+ and F-. Some were horrible. Some
helped. And the industry just stumbled along in spite of them. And this
continues. Just different names. Bob Ditchey From: Jack Keady via Mifnet

as most know, we were buddy buddy with the Shah. One oif the offshoots of this
was a US firm named Golightly, with owner Henry Golightly who got a consulting
contract with Iran Air. They hired an Eastern airlines employee to help. I have
never heard more about anything.
