I agree Adam.  

 

What I was thinking was that with the lower_case_table_name switch set, DB's
created would all have lower case table names and they would need to be
renamed accordingly.

In my opinion we should require case-sensitivity to work with all tests.
All tables and columns should be upper case.  It's a simple/reasonable
requirement.

Good question. Depends on the implementation of the fix, I guess. It
may be possible to avoid breaking existing databases.

I added a note to the bug that a migration script should be provided
for existing Linux/Mac OS X databases if necessary. The script would
probably just rename tables to match what appears in the hibernate
mapping files.
