Thanks so much for opening this bug in the issue tracker, Chico.
One thing that would be helpful to know is the environment in which you reproduced this bug and which revision number it reproduces in (e.g. a local build running revision xxxx and a DB backup from the test server generated on Jan 15, 2008). Also, in general, putting in repro steps in the bug which indicate how to reproduce the bug from a clean DB install (versus how to reproduce the issue on the test server) are helpful and should be provided whenever possible (though admittedly I am not always consistent about doing this either). I realize that you already know the cause of the issue, as indicated in your bug report, however this is helpful just for consistency in how the bug reports are written, in case a developer other than yourself works on the issue, and for testers to know exactly how to go about testing the fix for the issue. Cheers Chico Chico Charlesworth/Ireland/Contr/[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 02/18/2008 02:14 PM Please respond to Developer <[email protected]> To Developer <[email protected]> cc Subject [Mifos-developer] NullPointerException Bug in Edit Account Information Hi, I've found that when clicking Preview in Edit Account Information for a Loan account, a NullPointerException is thrown. It looks like that customerId parameter is not being passed correctly (i.e. it is blank), which then causes this issue. What is the process in creating an issue for this bug? Should I create it in the java.net issue tracker? If so, how do I ensure that this issue isn't already in the issue tracking system (as I don't want to create duplicate issues)? Cheers Chico ps. Steps to reproduce this issue. 1. Search for a customer who has an existing loan account 2. Click on the derived Loan link 3. Click on the 'Edit account information' link 4. Click on 'Preview'--------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
