> A new feature called "Default Loan Based on Previous Loan > Amount/No. of Cycle" has been added in 1.1. > I had few questions regarding the functionality of default > loan based on loan cycle. > To begin with, I want to what exactly the function means.
Hi Arpita, A loan cycle is the number of times a client has been given a loan. So if a client is on loan cycle #3, it means it is their 3rd loan. MFIs often increase the amount a client can receive as a loan as they've taken and successfully paid back previous loans. So while the max amount for a first loan might be 5000Rs, the max amount for a 3rd loan is usually higher-- for example 15,000Rs. This feature is supposed to define different max/min and default amounts based on the loan cycle. Very happy to see you QA this feature.
