Currently, planning poker is scheduled once a week. After some internal discussions we've reached a rough consensus that scaling back the "full group" poker sessions would be a good idea.
We've come to this conclusion because it feels like a decent calibration has been reached with the group, and assigning complexity points is becoming smoother and easier. Also, we'll free up three person-hours (times the number of folks attending per meeting) by having less frequent meetings. We'll try out one meeting per month to keep the group calibrated and help introduce any new team members to the process. Planning poker will now be the first Thursday of every month at 9am US/Pacific time. One exception is this month.... there is a conflict and the meeting will be the 24th instead of tomorrow.
